I think the temperature is supposed to drop drastically by Friday! I'm so disappointed because every time we go to Orlando in November, it's freezing! We're going on Friday, and the temps are really dropping down to the low 70's. It was 87 this week. Why can't I ever have good luck?!

I guess this Brrrr temp really depends on where you're from. Growing up in MN, my mom's rule was no shorts until 67 degrees! Here in New England 70's are my idea of perfect warm weather. But DH grew up in Texas and he thinks it has to be at least 85 to feel good. At least the pools are heated, and I hope you enjoy that if not the air temp.

By the way, it'll be in the low 40's here tomorrow!

Considering is was 43 degrees at our house this morning, I would be happy with anything over 60.

Lower temps (and crowds) are the prime reason I like to visit WDW around this time of year.

I live in Texas and I still don't think low 70's is "freezing"

Same here, we are going the first week of Dec. and I'm praying that it is between 65 and 70. That's perfect weather for me. I'm from Ohio and I refuse to pack heavy coats and gloves to go to Florida.

Where are you from, South America? 70's is by no means "cold". At least in my book.

Okay, you've all made your point. Now I feel silly! By the way, I'm a Jersey girl.

There were pockets around my area that was 29° this morning. We are going in January and I already told my DD that if we can't cut a hole thru the water and fish, then it is swimable. I am hoping for anything 60° and above.

Dismom...we are with you all the way! We're headed down November 9th....Tuesday thru Sunday...and were very disappointed to see the dramatic drop in temps.
We were hoping for an afternoon visit to Typhoon Lagoon one day....that's in jeopardy. We also were hoping for an outside shot at a night-time condo swim....looks like that's out the window....and even a daytime swim might be!!!
But....I know a meterologist who tells me a cool front is moving into the area this weekend and "should" move out quickly. Hopefully by later in the week, it'll jump back up.
For all you others....no, the low 70's aren't cold....but when temperatures have been regularly in the mid 80's for weeks, then there's a sudden drop into the low-to-mid 70's, that's a bummer!

It's in the low 70's in Arizona, and I am freezing! I guess it all depends on what you're used to. Does the humidity in Florida make it feel colder or warmer?

We went one time over Veterans Day weekend and it was only in the low 60's for highs. The first day was warm, a cold front came through and it went down in to the 60's the rest of the time. Of course, it warmed up again right after we left.

We are heading there this Saturday and I heard the temps are going down---BOO HOO!!! But you know--being from New England --- temps in the 70's are very nice. That is perfect New England weather for us!!!! It is so cold here today---I look forward to the warmer weather.

We were there on April 2-6 this year. It was cool by our standards, High of low 70's low in the 50's. Jeans felt good to us. Of course I had packed no closed shoes, I always wear Merrell sandals or Birkenstocks. DH was appalled that I wore his white athletic socks with the Birks! From now on I'll pack sneakers each trip, regardless of the forcast!

Going down the first week of Dec and hoping for high 60s low 70s. Perfect weather for the parks as far as I am concerned. By the way it was 35 degrees this morning when I left for work. :wave2:

Dismom, I'm right with you, but I'm a Central Florida resident. The '70's are cool for me. But the 70's are awesome temps for touring the parks! The pools at the resorts and water parks are heated, so no problem swimming. Might be cold when you get out of the pool and are wet. It's been hot here since April, so I guess we can't complain, since it held out until November for a cold front!!

I think the low 70's are perfect for touring the parks in. It eliminates the heat and feeling sticky and too hot all day. I love the heat-- for swimming, but I do enjoy having a few "cooler' days to do the parks on.

I'm looking forward to cool temperatures. We arrive next week. I was starting to get worried as I hadn't packed any shorts. (Lost weight this year so don't have any.) I told DH I would probably burn up because I packed capris, long pants and tank tops. Looking forward to high 70's and low 80's.

The high 80 temps are unseasonably warm here. The "cold" front moving in will bring things back down to normal for this time of year. Believe me, 75 degrees with low humidity and little chance of rain is near perfect for park touring.

I agree about this April. We were there last April and enjoyed nice, warm temps, but this last April was much cooler. We were at Universal and didn't want to do the water rides like we'd done the previous year.

DH and I were at WDW this past weekend and thought it was WAY too hot--Saturday we didn't even hit the parks until 4 PM because it was so scorching. I think the 70s are perfect for touring the parks! Luckily you will have fun no matter what . :)
