Temp membership card at SSR sales center.

Thanks to everyone who gave input on how to pick up a card before the "resale system arrivial". We just went over the the SSR preveiw center and asked for our cards. After showing ID and a few quick questions we were told the cards would be ready shortly. We sat down and had some juice & cookies while waiting. Besides being very quick it gave us a chance to see the SSR resort.

Our "real" cards haven't arrived either, so we got temps, too, so we could ride EE during the sneak peek this weekend.

If you need a DVC membership card before you get your "permanent" blue card in the mail (sometimes it takes a while, especially if you buy in via resale), you can go to the Sales Office over at SSR and the CMs there will print you a temporary card. (You will have to be in the DVC computer system for that to happen, though. That can take a week ormore after closing).

You can use the temporary membership card wherever you need to show a membership card to obtain a perk/benefit/discount.
