Telling Hotel that we are on our Honeymoon?

So I reserved a week in August to stay at Pop Century. What do I need to do to tell them I will be on my Honeymoon? There was no option when I booked to tell them. Do I need to call Disney directly?

It's great to remind them as many times as possible but they may or may not do anything at all. Also if you want a king bed room make sure you call and request that. They have very few of them that are not set up for handicapped guests so it's very hard to get one.

OP make sure you tell everyone it's your honeymoon. Do it when you make ADRs and also when you actually arrive for your dinners. My best friend went on his honeymoon and they received "honeymoon" buttons at check in. They were given free desserts at almost every restaurant and sometimes got little freebies from different stores if someone noticed the button. It can't hurt to tell anyone about it. :)

Definitely wear the button! We went for our 10th anniversary and got buttons and it was very fun to have many people wish us happy anniversary!

Do you have to call and inform them on ADR's as well? Didn't see a spot for that when reserving.

we got married at the Polynesian and stayed the week, they gave us a signed photo with the characters :)

I don't know if you have to tell them when you make ADRs, but I just figure it can't hurt if you are able to.

Don't forget to get the bride and groom ear hats. We wore them out on our honeymoon. Plan on getting new ones this year.

You can get them in most stores on property.

We told them when we went on ours. We stayed at POR and were upgraded to a river view. Also at the hoop-dee-do we got a front row center table :)

Let them know, but please do not count on getting anything. You don't want to set yourself up to be disappointed. You may get an upgrade or free treats, or you may simply be wished Congratulation on your wedding. You never know.

I don't know if Disney still does that but before we went on our honeymoon, we had a Honeymoon registry where friends (and ourselves) could "buy" things for our honeymoon. In the end we got a Disney Gift Card with all the money to buy what we wanted.

It was really nice!

I know for dvc there is a button o. The screen to on add a celebration
in the past we used the family reunion
this trip I have added our engagement
