Tell me yuor best makeup to wear in high humidity?

I actually used the exact same makeup routine as usual while I was there, with one notable exception: Primer. It really made all the difference. I used Ulta perfect minerals primer and it was great!

I am a BE girl through and through! Also a big fan of their tinted mineral sunscreen. It can be used as foundation, it's sweat proof/water proof (I've even worn it swimming and it has stayed on). The sunscreen is also very portable in a retractable brush. Most of their products weather proof and lightweight so won't leave you feeling icky.

I totally second this!!:worship:

I also love the BE product called Prime Time-its a primer. You put that on, then the Sunscreen and or mineral foundation and you are good to go. They also have a Prime Time for Eyes, that works to keep your eye-makeup in place.

I wore all this at the parks in a heatwave October and my face stayed good all day. (I have Rosacea, so the make-up coverage is a must for me).

I live in Florida, and deal with the ridiculous summer heat all the time. My biggest piece of makeup advice is LAYER.

I start with moisturizing lotion and then sunscreen. Then mascara and liner, with primer on top. I second @LOCKSHOCKBARREL and HIGHLY recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion, I use the original (no color), and I by the end of the day, my eye make-up looks pristine, like I just put it on. I use MAC Prime + Prime Face Protect SPF 50, followed by a redness controlling/oil absorbing powder. For the powder, I'm currently using Arbonne FC5 Mattifying Powder, which works, but I'm looking for a product that I truly love. Then eyeshadow(s) and a foundation (MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 in NW15), applied with a brush, and set with a powder (MAC Select Sheer/Pressed Powder NW15). I also use MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15, which does seriously provide the 15 Hour Wear that it says. Works great in heat!!! I usually finish with the Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray that @LOCKSHOCKBARREL recommended.

I usually just bring the powder into the park with me for any pre-photo touch ups!

I have a question for all of you that use the Urban Decay Finishing sprays....If you use it as described before makeup application and after, how long does a bottle of this typically last?

I use my normal make up, but Im used to heat and humidity living in WI we get a fair share of it. Not as extreme, but enough to make me crazy. I use a daily facial lotion with spf, and a light foundation with spf. I use a little bronzer and powder. I use a simple basic eye shadow and water proof eye liner and mascara. I blot with a good ol napkin or paper towel throughout the day and try to keep it simple. I don't go over board on bronzer and eye shadow, I find it wears off through out the day any way. I keep a lip gloss and chap stick in my bag and a compact so I can put some powder on if im in need of a touch up. Half the time I don't waste my time tho because I end up sweating it off any way.. so I just blot and deal with it! If im going to a fancy dinner later I will do up my eyes a little more and touch up my face. I used to do special smokey eyes every day and bronzer, blush, highlighter and so on, but now I like less in more, at Disney or at home! I love doing my eyes up but I think now as im getting older.. my baby blues look better with just a pop of mascara and a smudgy eyeliner!

When I go to Disney I don't wear any face makeup because it's just too much and I don't need it, plus it prevents my face from tanning! haha :)

Before applying any makeup to your face make sure to put on your sunscreen..i use the recommended SPF 35.

But if you were to wear face makeup I highly recommend a tinted moisturizer it gives you coverage without the heavy caked on feel plus it's a moisturizer and has SPF! I recommend the Aveeno tinted moisturizer, it's great.

I also recommend the E.L.F. Oil Blotting Sheets, they're $1 at target for 50 sheets. They get rid of all of the oil and sweat off of your face without ruining any of your makeup and prevents your face from looking super oily/sweaty in pictures!

For other makeup I wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.

I use a waterproof mascara..either Covergirl LashBlast or Loreal's Voluminous Mascara.

I use a eyeshadow primer from Urban Decay..for $18, but my eye makeup doesn't crease or come off at all during the day, even in 90 degree weather. I wear a natural eyeshadow..MAC lasts the longest!

And for eyeliner I just use the Revlon Colorstay Liquid liner only on my lids..nothing moves out of place and stays on all day..if you plan to go on water rides such as Kali River Rapids..I don't recommend wearing liquid liner..but I pencil liner on the upper water line only to prevent smudging.

For lips I just carry around a lip balm with spf 15..do not wear lip gloss since the gloss will attract the sun causing your lips to burn! Try a tinted lip balm!

I'm a BE girl also. I love the way the primetime primer feels...makes my face smooth as silk...then mineral makeup and good old Maybelline waterproof great lash mascara....you know, the cheap stuff in a pink and green tube. I find it doesn't clump and won't wash off on rides or if you sweat. I've tried the oil blotting papers from clinique and I think they're good also, but when I'm on vacation, I minimize my make up routine.

Try Clinique City Block under your regular make-up. It is a sunscreen/make-up primer. Somehow it absorbs moisture and keeps your make-up from soaking in/sweating off. I have used it at Disney and looked in the mirror in the late afternoon and still had make-up (including the blush) on like I had just applied it. Unheard of for me as I'm one of those that make-up always seems to disappear within 2 hours even inside on a cool day. I would also use some kind of water proof mascara.

Save time...save money... and skip the makeup. I use a SPF lip wear and that is it. I don't want to spend more money than I have too only to find out it doesn't work for me. I am on vacation not going to a beauty pagent.

Prefer the Bare Escentuals with a primer by Mally. Also like Mally's waterproof liner and mascara. It really works well for me.

Another vote for BE. I'm a devotee. I love their primers. But for Florida humidity, I especially love their oil control primer. I was amazed at how my makeup still looked at the end of the day.

Year round I use tinted moisturizer, and it's especially good during the heat. I use Neutrogena, it's literally the only brand that makes a shade for my ridiculously pale skin.

I use a lot of products by E.L.F. They are good quality, and cheap (ranging from $1-$6). Our summer in Michigan has just kicked off, and I've been using the following products for the past week or so to test the out in the heat:

all over color stick as concealer
tinted moisturizer spf 20
SPF 45 sunscreen powder
blotting papers
contouring blush & bronzing powder
mineral infused mascara
mineral moisturizing lip tint
eyeshadow quad
eyeliner
healthy glow bronzer in luminance

All of these products cost about $23 total! I buy online because they don't have their full product line at any stores near me. The makeup remover cloths are nice for travel, too, and you can skip moisturizer if you bring tinted. If you have oily skin, you might try the mattifying powder. I haven't tried that yet. Their $1 nail polishes make for great pre-trip pedicures, esp. with teenage daughters!

PS - I should add that though I am a fan of BE also, I have started using ELF exclusively, as I like the variety of products, and love the price. :)

As far as Make-up Cosmetic items I'm taken: a pop up travel hair brush, Jack Black lip balm natural mint spf 25 (sephora), soft lips vanilla lip balm spf 20 (target), Dream Mousse Concealer maybelline, NYX blush in peach, Marshmallow lip gloss by Philosophy, Buxom lip gloss in Bunny I think, Define a lash mascara Maybelline Waterproof, anddd Korres yogurt cream for dry skin and acne prevention.

Face Moisturizer with SPF, Eye lash curler, Falsies(Mabelline) Waterproof mascara in Drama, and my EOS lemon chapship (yum).... thats it we will be there in Sept and the thought of makeup running down my face and coming off everytime I wipe the sweat off is really not going to work for me :goodvibes

I have blotchy, uneven skin, and psoriasis outbreaks that likes to showup on my forehead. So I don't leave the house with a bare face. Even if I'm heading to the beach for a morning run.

My current warm weather routine is Physicians Formula Healthy Wear tinted moisturizer. It has a SPF 50, plus is heavier than most tinted moisturizers, but still doesn't feel like sunscreen. I do my eyes with Benefit's Stay Don't Stray eyelid primer, it's the only eye primer I would consider using. After concealer, it's usually just a light color shadow and a coat of mascara. I then use a mattifying top lotion. A little amount of blush, then finish it off with a SPF powder. Mid-day, I blot, then reapply powder as a sunscreen touch-up.

Of course if the weather turns to rain, all make-up and hair bets are off.
