Totally with you. If we could afford it I’d book the 3 bed GV at CCV in a heartbeat for my entire family. But there’s a lot of amazing non Disney experiences to be had for that kind of money.

I’m down for the 2 bedroom points, and you can get two of those for a week for nearly 200 pts less than the GV at CCV!

My wife has pointed out that kitchens in many villas don’t have a lot of counter space for actual meal preparation. The dining tables can also be pretty “snug”.

In addition to the Ocean Front view, it was great to have 6 people comfortably around the dining table for breakfast and dinner at the Aulani GV.

So there are some functional differences in addition to the “Grand” feeling.

Agreed! Though the cheapest Grand Villa at OKW is 46 points and the most expensive 1BR at RIV is 81 points (40pts for studio).

Off topic, but I have always been a chronic overpacker, always thought I needed “options”, and came home with plenty of extra clothes to put away. I finally decided to try my husband’s technique of laying out every outfit for each day and rolling it up together with underwear and socks. I’m officially converted, it was amazing.

That's just pretend OCD. Do the full Steve Jobs. Black T-shirts, shorts and underwear. 5 days of each. Put the washing on every 4th day (while you cook your own Disney-beating recipes). We travel international with just carry-on luggage.

Oh, and the answer .... OKW size and cost.
