Tell me why not to add on at BCV

Would you add on at BCV.

We own at Vero and VWL.

Trying to decide between an add on at BCV or just waitlisting for more points at Vero and VWL. We are already on the waitlist for VWL (50 pts).

Would you keep it simple with 2 resorts and 50 more pts at each if they ever become available or buy 100 additional at BCV?

I think it depends on the time of year you wish to visit DW. If it is during peak times You should maybe consider BCV if you want to stay in that area. Also BWV would be a wise choice with the ability to try for a standard view at the 11 month window. Also it depends on how flexible you are with your vacation time and what type of accomodations you prefer.
We own at OKW and HH and have not had any trouble with the 7 month window a BCV or BWV since we are flexible, and call right at the 7 month window. Although we did book a studio at BWV for end of this month at 2 1/2 months out.

I would wait for pts at VWL or VB.It will make it easier for you. If you are flexible you shouldn't have to much of a problem getting in at BCV's at the 7 month window.

You already have the 11 month window at WDW(VWL) and ocean front (VB). We have the same at OKW and VB. You will be happier to have more pts at your 2 resorts to have longer stays and larger accomodations.

FYI... as of last week, only points remaining for March, April, and June use years at BCV. This might be a good reason to not add on at BCV.

I'd wait it out so that I kept my points at two resorts. We've found and offsite and onsite a great combination. But I don't know that 50 points at a second WDW resort would be worth all the hassle of working out reservations. Just my opinion, but that's what you asked for.

Just curious ? I have a March use-year. It was all that was offered to us when we became Members in '00. What is the downside here ? Thanks.

Absolutely no downside for any of these particular months - just meant to imply that there may not be add-ons available for the original poster at BCV.
