we will have 5 traveling in April (4days) 3 adults...a 6y0 & 10yo

kinda want to stay on property...but need it to be value....we stayed @ the suites @ POP? once & they were just too small.

I'm beginning to think it may just be smarter to stay off property this trip since there's no free dining or other great deal out there.....BUT where????:confused3

I was always one of those people who would pass up a trip to Disney before I'd stay off site...BUT...when we went in July, we stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek in a 2 BR condo, and it was fantastic. I really can't say enough good things about it. My nephews were 7mo and 19mo at the time, and we desperately needed the space. As well as the kitchen and in room washer/dryer. I would have absolutely no problem staying there again at all. In fact, for a family trip, I'd prefer it. And super affordable. There's a whole bonnet creek thread over on the resorts board, you should check it out!

When we would go with a large group we would stay at the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness. They are great and lots of room.:)

If, by any chance, one of you is a teacher, nurse, or government employee, take a look at the discounts for the Deluxe Alcove rooms at the Dolphin. You can't price it online; you'll have to call and speak to someone. But the discount was great, and the room sounded nice and spacious. http://www.swandolphin.com/accommodations/deluxe_alcove.html

Had we not gotten the PIN from Disney, it's where we would have stayed.

We've stayed at Windsor Hills a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

5mins2disney, bonnet creek, or vacationcentralflorida.

hmmm....I am a certified teacher...just don't have a job...subbing right now...wonder if that will count?:confused3

Yes, I believe subbing does count! All you need is a pay-stub when you check-in for verification if you no longer have a teacher ID. Or, bring your teaching certificate!
