Is it still humid?

What about daytime temps...80's, 90's,???

Do the nights get cool?

We're used to going when the weather isn't hot so I'm trying to decide if we would be in for a real shock doing the parks at this time of year. Please tell me your experiences...good or bad...thanks!

It is very humid still. We were there last year at this time. We didn't expect it to be humid or that hot and we melted the entire time we were there. However, we are from the West where there isn't any humidity. When I asked one or two of the employees about this, they claimed it didn't stop until mid to late October. Sorry.
It did cool off a bit in the evening, but we never needed jackets.

Highs in early October are in the mid to upper 80's. It's going to be hot, at best pretty warm and still humid. Our trip in late Oct started around 90 for the first few days, and finally hit the mid 70's and comfy at the end. Average highs are the 80's throughout Oct and it's humid, plus the end of hurrican season. If you're not used to going in the heat and humidty it will be a shock to the system. It doesn't average as bad as summer overall, but cool it's not. Here's a link to the average temps That is for the monthly averages, but you can also see the daily averages, as well as the records. Should give you a better idea if the weather will be to your taste. If you don't like heat or humidity them I'd suggest November to February roughly. Even there not a guarantee, though much better then summer.

Thanks for the replies & links to those sites :) ...but now I don't know what to do!

I was considering going in Oct. since I got that PIN e-mail but we really prefer being at Disney when it's not hot & humid. Ack!!!! Mickey, give me a sign! :earboy2:

Not sure where you're from, but late September-early October is our personal favorite time to go! (We're from the NY area....did not seem all that humid to us.)

WE went last Oct. first week and going again this Oct first week. It is "hot and humid"--but NOT anywhwer near as hot and humid as other months. Less humid in fact than up here around haze-ridden Harrisburg and Baltimore!!
Quite bearable and comfortable and I think an excellent time to go!!!

I am excited to go the first week as I am perpetually cold. This will be a nice change and know that its almost guaranteed shorts everyday :)

Those last 3 posts are making me take another look at October...thanks for your replies. :wave2: Any other feedback out there? :listen:
