How do the Japanese restaurants, Teppan Edo and Tokyo, compare? They seem to be very similar according to menu on allears. Are they both the open grill at your table? We ate at one when were we there last time but I don't think either of these is the name. The kids love the chefs cooking at our table :goodvibes If you have eaten at either tell me what you think. THanks

Teppan Edo is the hibachi grill place, where you're seated around the grill where your chef cooks your meal. You can choose which meats/seafood (if any) that you want and can also state which vegetables you want and don't want, you are choosing from standard options available to everyone at your table. The skilled chefs provide entertainment as they cook! Seating is family style.

Tokyo Dining is the more traditional dining place, where you can order a variety of appetizers, sushi, and entrees from the menu. Seating is at seperate tables per party.

Both are delicious restaurants! You can't go wrong with either pick IMO, but of course kids will likely get a kick out of Teppan! HTH!

Exactly. What you want is Teppan Edo.

FWIW it used to be the Mitsukoshi Restaurant. I have not been since it changed but I wouldn't imagine it's much different; if anyone knows what's changed I'd love to know!!
