We would like try try something different then the typical chicken nuggets and burgers. Can you please tell me your favorite Counter Service meals in any of the parks? Thanks for any info!

In the Land pavilion. Had the rotisserie chicken with mashed potato and caroots. Very yummy. Was on DDP so also got dessert from the bakery case. Very good chocolate cake!

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

We like the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico though it is currently being refurbished. We also like the Lotus Blossom Cafe in China. :lovestruc

Yak-n-Yeti has a CS. We haven't tried it, but that would also provide a good variety.

MK- Columbia Harbor House
Epcot- Sunshine Seasons and Tangerine Cafe (I've also been known to make a meal out of a margarita and Cadbury Buttons...don't judge! ;) )
AK- I've only tried Yak and Yeti...it was decent enough
DHS- Yeah, I've got nothing...unless popcorn counts as CS!

1. Cosmic Ray's the rib chicken combo is the best of the best
2. Flame Tree Barbecue- best ribs at Disney
3. Columbia Harbor House- shrimp fries and slaw, yum
4. Sunshine Seasons- everything from rotisserie chicken to Asian fusion
5. San Angel Cantina- just good Mexican food
6. Pecos Bill's- when after a week at Disney you're suddenly Jonesing for a burger.

Our favorites:

MK: Cosmic Ray's, Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bill's

Epcot: Tangierine Cafe

AK: Yak & Yeti's counter service, Flame Tree BBQ

DHS: Pizza Planet

MK: Cosmic Rays

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Tangierine Cafe (IMHO, both tied for best in all of WDW)

AK: Flame Tree Barbecue

DHS: Yea right, this place and CS. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I'll pass. Especially the dive they call ABC Commissary. The only thing I can say good about this place other than the exit is it is air conditioned.

Here are the ones that we like....:)

MK - Cosmic Rays and Columbia House
EP - Sunshine Seasons and the QD restaurant in Morroco
AK - Flame Tree BBQ and Yak & Yeti Express

Wolfgang Pucks Express @ DTD, tons of food and great if your on DDP.

I was happy with....Backlot Express @ DHS, I think b/c the manager was super nice about DD's allergies, very caring. Pizza Planet was AWFUL! Ugh! I know DD will want to go there this year b/c of all the TS hype, but Elios pizza is 100xs better and one little pizza was I think $8, a waste!

MK....hmm...don't recall eating a CS here, I know we had Figaro Fries when they were around 2 years ago @ Pinocchios.

Epcot~ We really enjoyed Mexico's CS and the Fish and Chips in UK.

and never had CS @ AK b/c we always eat @ Tusker House, do what we gotta do and leave, but one day I want to try Flame Tree BBQ

I have 2 favorites. The first is Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. They have very good rotisserie chicken and pork chop dinners. And, the second is Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom.....excellent ribs.

The best counter service we ate while at DW was...
Flame Tree, Yak n Yeti both at AK, Tangerine Cafe in Epcot and Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD.

Out of the four Mr. Puck wins with flying colors. I am still craving the food from there!!!

In MK: Cosmic Rays, Columbian Harbor House

In Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, either grill station for grilled pork chops or gilled salmon OR Asian Station for entree & 2 sides YUM! Also, on the dining plan, go to the Bakery counter to get fab desserts...strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, double choc cake, etc.

In DHS, Starring Rolls for goumet sandwich - we like the focaccia bread, plus choose fabulous bakery items for dessert. Only serve lunch for a couple of hours, though.

In AK, love Flametree -- walk around way behind the building for awesome views in the seating areas (don't go to the covered pavillion over to the side near the front -- BORING! Much better seating around the back.)

In DTD, love Wolfgang Puck Express - like getting table service at a counter service (you order at a counter, but waiter delivers food & drinks) Also like Earl of Sandwich

Most resorts have great food courts, too.

I like the rotisserie pork chop and the beet salad at Sunshine Seasons.

I like the vegetarian chili at Columbia Harvest House...and go back outside to get a baked potato, corn on the cob and watermelon at Liberty Square Market.

I like the soup and salad combos at Kringla bakery in Norway.

I like the hot turkey, brie and apple butter sandwich and green bean salad at the Contempo Cafe.

I really really want to try empanadas and tostones at the Refreshment Port near Canada.

The baked chicken/roast turkey/salmon dinners at the AllStars resorts are better than you might think. Likewise the chicken penne alfredo.

The shrimp udon at Yakitori House is my absolute favorite meal on property.

...and just because nobody can get completely away from junk food at WDW, I have only two works...corndog nuggets!

We like Lotus Blossom in Epcot and Columbia Harbour in MK among others. Not your typical burger place.
