That you thought you would never do..see..eat at WDW/Resort and once you did...did you like it? Hate it? May do again? Never again?

For me..it was going for a swim in the pools. I'm a pooh sized woman and I'm very self conscious(sp?) about my body. Idk..there's just something about being on property..WDW period..that made me feel like no one cared what I looked like. I had a blast swimming and going down the water slide(this is when I stayed for a night at Coronado Springs)and just being care-free.

I will definitely go swimming again when I go back. I've lost a lil weight from the last trip and I'm even more confident now!!:thumbsup2

I just thought this would make for an interesting thread!!:goodvibes

Running a half or full marathon. I used to not be able to go a mile before feeling like death but decided to do a half marathon at Disney World. I also never thought I would ever do a full marathon and will be running (body willing) my second one in January.

I saw a woman take her shoes and socks off and sit down at the edge of a fountain and kick her feet around in it and then just sit there with her feet in it.

It was gross.

Ditto on what FireDancer said, except that craziness about the whole marathon thing...I used to loath running with a passion, then somehow pushed past that to actually, dare I say, really enjoy it. The beginning of my first year of running was capped off by my first Disney race, the Wine and Dine Half Marathon relay. Which was addicting, and something I never ever ever ever thought I would do!

After I ran my first 5K I said I'd never do a 10K...after I did my first 10K I said I'd never do a half marathon...after I did my first half marathon I said I'd never do a full marathon.

See where I'm going here ;)

Yup. Started running in March specifically to try a Disney race. Now, two halfs, three 10k's and twelve other races later, I am addicted.

This is awesome!! Congrats on everyone who does the marathon thing!! I know that I never have had the motivation to do it. But..as I lose more weight..I'm actually thinkin about it!! It would prove just how far I've come!!

Another thing that I've done and said that I wouldn't do again is Epcot!! I didn't really care for it during my first trip..but now I LOOOOVE that park!!!:lmao::thumbsup2 It's probably my favorite actually!!:goodvibes

This was me on our first trip. In fact, wouldn't you figure that as soon as we arrived at TL and got in the river we had to get right out due to lightning and a massive thunder storm which lasted for hours. That was it for my waterpark experience but the intent and action was there.:thumbsup2

I'm enjoying this thread. I can't think of anything yet though.

You are so right....but that whole 26.2 so isn't happening! However, there are a few halfs on the horizon for me...one in May for sure. I really really really want to do the Princess half. We will be in town for a cruise, but it has been highly discouraged NOT to run the race because it is the same morning our cruise leaves on 2/27 :sad1:
