Good (very early) morning!

So, the stars seems to align for our next cruise...

I ended up being able to book a cabana on Serenity Bay. There was 3 left and my gut told me to book #25 ...

So now, I'm hoping my gut was right. LOL

1) Can anybody tell me more about the cabana rental and cabana #25? Am I wrong to think it is the last one aka more secluded? I haven't been able to find videos about this one on youtube.

2) My question may sound stupid but... if the weather ends up being very bad on CC day (it never happened to us so far), can you cancel without being charged?

Thanks in advance!

There are not videos of 25. It is the last one. Not many make it out that far.
Has anyone made it back with video? ? ?

There are a only a few pics online. Did you see them? And you booked it ? ? /

It's too remote. Not may pax make it out that far.

I've heard there are natives out at the point. They may even work, or know DCL CM's.

Are you sure you are willing to commit to 25?

You and your group don't have mobility issues I hope?

There are no lower numbers cabanas available?

If the weather is bad, you will feel blessed though having a cabana, even though you will not get a refund. Unless it is really ugly, depending on the situation at the point.
It can vary out there though. The weather is different at the point than at the Family Beach. Just keep your ears open for the alert signal when your out that far.

Tides can pickup quickly at the point and the carts can't get out there in the flood water.

So just listen for the alert. And you'll be fine I'm sure.

Enjoy # 25

Thanks for the laughs.

We have booked this cabana for the last 4 years and have it next month. I lost my photos in a computer crash.

It is the last one on SB and does not have a great view of the ocean unless you are standing up. Our only complaint were people ignoring the "cabana guests only" ropes next to the cabana.

Found a video from when it was #21? If not it will give you a good view of the area.

I love it. It looks really good. And you basically have a backyard! LOL

25 is slightly more private than the others. All 4 on SB are clustered together, so expect to see all of your neighbors. The beach is a short pathway walk away.
You will hear lots of traffic( on CC), as walkers, runners, bikers and golf carts use the roadway that passes by the SB cabanas.

Pretty sure that's only on the family beach cabanas since the snorkel area is closest to the family beach.

Couldn't we snorkel in the open water beach or just go to the snorkel area with the equipment?

I'm sure you can. But the equipment is not listed in the SB cabana amenities. Probably because the adult beach really isn't much for snorkeling and most people who have cabanas there have them there to avoid the family beach area.

Funny... I think SB is gold for snorkeling. We've seen a stingray, a barracuda, many starfishes, tropical fishes and crabs.

That being said, I doubt my family will wanna snorkle... Probably just me so I might as well just bring my own goggles.

Do you know if the snorkel equipment is included?

I can confirm that it is not included. I have had Cabana 25 twice in recent years and have it reserved for my next cruise in March. I love the Cabana and while you do hear some 'traffic' on the road behind the SB Cabanas, I love being at the end of the group. I was able to get the host to bring us snorkel equipment once, but not the other time. It isn't guaranteed, but it doesn't hurt to ask if they can get it for you. I agree with you that I have seen more fish in SB than I have in the family beach snorkel area.

I love Cabana 25 and I am sure you will too.

You've been lucky. Other than the first time, the times I've been there the tide has been pretty far out so there wasn't much water above thigh-level (and I'm 5ft 6 so not short).

I'm 5ft3. :) Maybe I have been lucky but we've seen them at thigh level (stingray) or less (barracuda, fishes, starfishes and crabs). All around 30 meters or less from the beach. I never go further because I suck at swimming and I prefer to stay close in case a shark would come around.

That is awesome! I prefer to snorkel with tinier fish as I am a wimp in the water but that sounds like some great photo ops! :D

My DH brings his own snorkeling gear and gets the required vest at the lifeguard tower. He has seen a lot of fish, live shells, barracuda, etc while snorkeling at SB. I'm also 5' 3" but prefer to just wade.

Just did our check in for our May 7th Southern Caribbean re-po cruise.
We are platinum, I was able to grab Cabana 25 it was the last one available.
There were a few family beach available too, by 12:15 they were all gone.....

Happy to have it!
