Basically I just need some budget-minded folks to tell me that $72 is worth the hassle of changing my reservations. We're currently booked on a room/tickets package with one of the "Peter Pan" PINs. Today I got a new PIN for room-only that covers our dates. I did the math, and if I switch to room-only and buy our park tix from UT I'll save about $72. Just tell me $72 is worth having to have our deposit refunded & make new reservations because right now I really don't feel like dealing with it.

I would for sure!! $72 can buy you some nice souvvies! Or cover a few tips when dining out! ;)

Every penny counts! Also with room only you don't have to pay in full at the 45 day mark.

That's 29 frozen chocolate covered bananas. It's a couple nice shirts for the kids from the parks. It's a nice windbreaker or sweatershirt for you or the hubby. It could be another additional night at a value resort. It could be two or more counter service meals for the family. It could be one nice sit down lunch or maybe squeeze out an inexpensive dinner. Its one free admission to keys to the kingdom tour at the Magic Kingdom. A couple horseback rides at Fort Wilderness. Tons of extra snacks for the parks and in your Disney room. Popcorn, drinks and smores at the campfire sing a long. Maybe it could pay for your airport parking back home, while you're all enjoying WDW. In other words, what I'm trying to say is make the call.:thumbsup2

How far would that Dollar Sign on your ticker move for $72? It's totally worth it!

Wow! $72 for a phone call! I would have been on the phone 10 minutes ago! How about I make the call for you and we split the savings! LOL!

Good call, I forgot about that! I want to pay in advance anyway (racking up those Disney Visa points!) but not having to do it 45 days out is nice. I'm sure my parents will be happy about this too, my mom was kind of like okaaaay when I told her I booked them on a package so they had to pay in full by March 23rd!

Okay okay you all have convinced me. I will make the call tomorrow. ;)

before you cancel one for $72 are you absolutely sure the room/resort you want is available? do you have and ADR's that might get canceled cause they are under the first reservation number that is being canceled (not sure if this happens but if you have one you really want make sure it doesn't)

Just be sure you can get everything back the same way before you give one up.

Remember that if you change to room only reservations you will not get the 6 months free financing on your Disney Visa, if that matters to you.
