So, we've been to WDW twice (we just got back from our second trip
), but we've never been to DL. DH has an upcoming conference (which we tried to go to last year, but his conference funds got pulled last year due to the ecomony
) at DL. We are going without the kids, so it'l be just me and DH
. DH's conference only runs from 7am-11:15am (please refrain from harping on me about how when YOU go to conferences, you have to sit in meetings ALL day, etc. When I go to conferences, they hold me captive in a beautiful hotel from 7am-6pm every night. Not so with DH. We're just going to be happy about the hours, and not get overly righteous about how it's not a good use of corporate funds, etc.). So, DH should be ready to tour at about noon each day. I may go into the parks without him (especially since I've found out that TSM doesn't have FPs!). We will be staying at the Grand Californian just before Easter (we arrive on Wednesday and leave on Saturday, so that we'll be home for Easter with the kiddos). His conference runs Thursday morning through Saturday morning. What are must dos? How do dining reservations work? How far in advance can we make them? Which restaurants are the best, etc? Should we try to get a dining package for World of Color? Any other advice? --Katie
