We LOVE BWV. So much so that we bought additional DVC points there after our original purchase at SSR.

Thoughts: Spending an evening on your balcony is fantastic. Just relax and enjoy the evening. BW Bakery in the morning is a great way to start a day. If you are going to MGM it is almost always quicker to walk through the far end BWV exit and walk there than to walk to the boat dock and pretty much retrace your steps on the boat. If you are coming back from MGM and are on the boat, it is quicker to get off at Swan/Dolphin and walk over the bridge to BW than to ride the boat to BW and walk to your room. Even though the main themed pool is cool, the quiet pools are the best (unless the kids are hung up on the water slide). The community hall is a good way for kids to spend some time away from the parents. If you are anywhere close to a sports fan, an afternoon/evening at the ESPN club is fun (yes it's typical bar food, but it's still a blast).

I loved this resort! WE had a villa on the boardwalk right underneath the boardwalk sign. We' leave our doors open in the morning and hear that great music while getting ready fro the day, you can watch fireworks from the balcony. We LOVED Spoodles. We had breakfast and dinner there and it was delicous. We will be going back to that restaurant for every trip now. My DH and I enjoyed going down the waterslide with the kids . Also Jellyrolls is a great way to keep the night going and the Bellvue Lounge is a great way to unwind at night.
You will love this resort. I can't wait to go back.

I loved BWV! The location was very convenient, and the larger room was great! One good shortcut is to use the exit that leads out to the pool rather than going through the lobby when you head out to the Boardwalk. Enjoy your stay!

We chose the Boardwalk for a few nights on our upcoming trip as well! It looks wonderful and I hope it is great. We booked the Boardwalk view and are very excited about looking out at the lake
