Our school is having a two week break February 2011 and we are thinking of taking the kids to Disneyland.

Dh and I have been there twice but both times were in the summer.

We went last year Feb 20 - 25th and it was perfect ... so good that we're going back this year the same dates!

Weather is cool, but didn't rain. Low crowds ... loved it!

Temps are comfortable (especially compared to summer), but we can get rain in Feb. Some rides will probably be undergoing refurbs and nighttime entertainment (F!, fireworks) are limited to the weekends, Fri-Sun. Although the parks close relatively early on the weekdays, the low crowd levels allow you to experience a full day in less time. President's Day weekend sees a slight jump in crowd levels. All in all, I think Feb has a lot going for it, but it is definitely different than visiting in the summer.

We've been in February for the past several years. I like the cool temps (50's and 60's). Of course we are from Seattle and people start to complain about the heat when it gets above 75.

Fortunately, the days that I'll be there in Feb. (17-18) they'll be open till 11:00. The week prior and after they're only open till 8:00 on weekdays. Guess I got lucky. Again :-).

Think about your relative temps too- if you are in Canada, 60's are going to feel downright toasty as compared to your home temp. We went from 20 degree temps in March last year at home to 60's at DLR and were quite pleased!

We're going Feb 3-5 ...I'm obviously worried about storms & the crowd changes due to the storms. In Jan it was quiet, we had short lines but we missed some fave rides so we're going now because we were told it was a good time. All I know is my fingers & toes are crossed.

Thats because many schools are now taking the whole Presidents Day week off school. We'll be there that week for that reason!
