I haven't even looked around the Grand Floridan so this will be a first looking around and eating there.

The choice was between Cape may and 1900 park fare for breakfast.

Have we made the right choice? Is there a good selection? And can we get fresh pancakes and omlettes here?

Thanks:yay:

This is the one for Cape May:

So they're pretty similar food-wise. I've never eaten at either for breakfast, so I don't know if the quality varies. Generally speaking, the food hasn't been fantastic at any of the character buffets I've done, but it wasn't inedible either.

We are doing Cape May for the first time this year. We've done 1900 PF almost every trip we've taken and always enjoyed it.

We have eaten at both and really like both, however Cape May is a must do for us. At both restaurants the characters are awesome and the food is really good. At 1900 Park Fare there is a made to order omelette bar where you can also get chocolate chip mickey pancakes made fresh. The only question I have is....where are you planning on going after breakfast? If you are planning on going to MK then I would go with 1900 Park Fare, however if you plan on going to DHS or Epcot, then go to Cape May. Good luck and Happy Eats :goodvibes

The Lobster Eggs Benedict is worth the price of the buffet alone, I was in heaven! As for character interaction and noise we prefer Cape May. 1900 Park Fare was rushed and we had to wait a really long time for the characters to make their way around, as opposed to at Cape May where they each circled the room, TWICE in the time we were there, and even sat down and spent time with us.

Food=1900 Park Fare wins
Characters=Cape May wins

Looks like your other questions were already answered, but I wanted to share that we really enjoyed the food at 1900 PF! Their smoked salmon, different flavored cream cheeses, & breakfast pizza were especially yummy!
