We just booked 5 nights DVC Grand Cali (sat-wed), we haven't been back since feb 2019. I am hoping End of July is okay, I mainly picked it because I could book it at 7 month mark (today) and it lines up good with our activities and such at home.

Any tips for summer time, anything special going on?

My July trips have been exceedingly warm midday so I always take a nap break between 1-5, do other thing, relax at hotel, etc. then back to parks til close. Nights are heavenly !

I should put into perspective we live in Florida so too a point use to summer heat.

LOL…well, then you’ll do fine…humidity is nothing like Florida and very few spontaneous outbursts of warm, muggy rain! I’ve done July trips past two years, mostly because crowds were low due to block outs but this year, I’m thinking June cause it’ll be a bit cooler, I’m from Colorado and I don’t like heat. Or humidity. Locals can offer better insight but I think crowd levels should be good if lower end passes are blocked, which I think is true. Glad you got DVC GC…was in WDW in novem talking with a nice gal and she said DVC was really hard to get out her…,they always go to WDW since it was closer (she was from Boston) but wanted to make a trip out west at some point.
