We had a TT about 4 years ago. It was 28ft Freedom Lite. We are thinking about purchasing another TT but we would like it under 24ft. We have a 9yo and a 3yo so it must sleep 4. My current favorite is the Coachman Apex.

Please share if your unit fits the bill and why you love it!

Thanks,
Jen

Jen, hopefully some people here can answer you, but you might also want to post your question on www.rv.net Open Roads forum and www.irv2.com forum.

Good luck!

We are a family of 5 and have a 2013 Rockwood Mini Lite 2306. It is 23 ft and has triple bunks and a queen bed is in the front. It's dry weight is just over 3700 lbs and it's gross weight is under 5,000 lbs. we tow it with a nissan pathfinder and we are well within our towing specs. We love it. We used to own a pop up.

PoohBearnTigger2 does the 2013 have the murphy bed? If so how easy is that to setup?

Jen

No we did not get the Murphy bed option. When you choose the Murphy bed option, you can only get double bunks and not triple. We needed the triple bunks. The dinette does concert into a bed too. I do love the Murphy bed option though. I think that is a great idea for RV's We have a SUV and we were not ready to purchase a pickup truck yet so the 2306 really met our needs with it's weight and amount of people it can sleep and the price was good too.

I agree....we DO have the Murphy bed with the double bunks (myself, wife, and boys 7 and 4). Definitely great to have couch, bed, and dinette in a bunkhouse model that we can use our SUV for. Same thing here...I could certainly fall in love with a longer, heavier trailer with all sorts of goodies, but not ready to go for required tow vehicle yet. So, this works nicely for us. I think we're doing quite well for a first unit, but I can see growing our vehicle and trailer into something larger when the boys are older...those 26 x 72 bunks work great at this age, but tight fit for sure down the road....

We have the 2013 version of this one....the Jayco Jay Flight 23mbh...with the murphy bed. I can not tell you how much we love it!! Our kids are 11 (DD) and 9 (DS). The slide is really deep so when it is out, it really does feel like an actual "living" area. And the murphy bed is the best design ever!! We hope to get to FW in 2015 for the 1st time in it!
