Tell me about your recent car deals

Other than Cash for Clunkers what kind of great new car deals have you gotten?

I called to re-fi my current car and got a good rate quote on purchasing as new one as well. So now I'm undecided and am wondering what kind of deals are out there.

So, tell me about yours.

BTW, I'm looking at a sedan, coupe or crossover type of vehicle.

We haven't bought anything but there is a dealer here (I hear their ads on radio all the time) that is offering $3000 cash back and tires for life.

Edited to add - I think the cash back is only for certain makes & models though.......think they are trying to reduce their inventory of SUV's, trucks, etc.
