Tell me about your Fav Towncar Service

I'm looking for a towncar service for my parents from MCO to BWI. They don't need a grocery stop, just a ride to and from the hotel. Tell me about your favorite towncar service and how much it cost for a round trip.

I've used both FL Tours, a board sponsor, and Tiffany Towncar in the past. They were both fine. Usually in the neighborhood of $110 or so roundtrip. That does not include the tip though. I usually tip $25 when I get to my resort and then $15 when I return to the airport....depending on the quality of service.

Haven't used one yet but I have been getting quotes from the KISS Amtrak station to CRS and the best rate I have so for is Santo at www.sejactransportation.com I got a referal from another DIS member. He has been very quick with replys to my questions. He also monitors schedules in case of delays.

80.00 roundtrip.

I have sent 3 e-mail to happylimo and never hear back from them. There websire states that they will match other services rate. Maybe they have for other people but not for me.

We have used Fl Tours the last few times and they have been very good. The drivers are friendly and courteous (sp?), the cars/vans are clean and the drivers were safe. I think roundtrip was around $110 and then added $25 tips both ways because the service was so good. Once we hired another company (that came highly recommended from this board) and they didn't show at the airport, would not answer the number we had for them either. We never went with that company again.

You can try contacting then anyway. I figures I didn't hear back from them because I was asking them to meet a fare. Their rate for a roundtrip tranfer was around 150.00. I sent then quotes ranging from 95.00 to 105.00 for the same trasfer and I didn't here back. I recently read another thread avout a disappointed customer. Try using the search.
I wanted to use them because I thought they has a great reputation. Oh well not answering e-mails doesn't show me much customer service.

We have used Tiffany Town cars several time and were always happy with the service. We usually have rooms with a kitchen or kitchenette and they have stopped at a grocery store for us. Our driver even gave us his discount card for that market to use for our purchases.

I received a one way quote for $48 including fees plus gratuity.
I think that this is the least expensive rate I have been quoted so far. I have started a new thread to see if anyone is familiar with this company.
I feel very comfortable paying $48 for 3 people for 21 miles. It is the exact same price as mears but you have a dedicated vehicle and do not stop at any other resorts.

I have received two emails so far from this company (both from the owner I think). They were both very prompt and professional sounding. I think I will go ahead and book since everything is looking good.

Hopefully on the new thread I posted, a couple of disers will give me a positive review of this company. I will feel more comfortable booking this way.

tinkerbell211--the company I referred to is no longer in business, thank goodness. There is no worse feeling than to come down the esclators at MCO and not seeing your name at the bottom
