I'm not a meeting person. Just too busy. But, I'm thinking about trying Weight Watchers on my own. Where can I get info if I don't join the online version? We just bought a house and money is a bit tight....just don't have the extra funds to pay the online charge....

Over the last couple years I have gained 30lbs or more. So depressing. I'm a petite woman to begin with at 5'1 so 30lbs shows big time.

There are two ways that I can think of to get the material if you do not want to join online. Number one is to go to eBay and buy the material there or two, take advanage of free registration, pay for one week and get the material from the meeting.

I have lost weight doing WW on my own and with the meetings and I was successful both ways. My only advice to you is if you do go it alone be sure to get a good support group to help you along the way. There is a WW thread here that is good for support and ideas, there is one at sparkpeople and many others, trust me support is a huge part of being successful.

Good luck on your journey.

I joined WW today. There was no registration fee. It cost me $13 to attend the meeting and they gave me all the materials I need. You could definitely get started that way.

I have friend who did WW on her own and she lost 70 pounds and has kept it off. It can be done.

Good luck!
