Tell me about Trails End, Marakesh and Via Napoli Please!!!!!

My DH and I travel to the World every year, and we normally eat at the same ole restaurants. Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare are always staples, but last year, our experience at both restaurants were not good and we have decided to try something new this year. I have made ADR's for Marakesh, Trails End and Via Napoli for our upcoming May trip. Marakesh we have always wanted to try, but I seem to flake out at the end since it's something new. I love olives and lemons though =) Trails End we just came across this year and thought it looked good. We stay at the Wilderness Lodge so we can take the boat over there. I pretty much know nothing about it though. Via Napoli is fairly new so we don't know about that one either, and I'm reading very mixed reviews about it. Tell me about your experience at these restaurants!!!

I have eaten at Marrakesh several times and we have always had very good meals there! My favorite dish is the chicken kabobs. I would definitely reccomend eating here!

I have never eaten at Via Napoli but this past summer I had dinner at Tutto Italia and this was one of the best meals of my life. The lasagna was out of this world and the desserts were amazing.

We have eaten at Marakesh several times and always enjoyed our meals. We ate at Via Napoli last Oct. and found it to be just so-so. We had one of there signature pizzas and found it to be just OK. We also ate at the new restaurant in Mexico La Hacienda de San Angel and loved it. We liked it so much that we will be dinning there again in March.

We ate at Via Napoli three times this past Nov and they were not planned at all! It was just excellent, there are tons of pics in my Nov 2010 thread

We ate at Trail's End twice last November. It's not fancy food and not a huge selection but it was fresh and well attended too. The atmosphere is not harried which is quite nice after a day at the park. The service was excellent and they were quite kind as my son will not eat off the buffett (that's a long story!) and will only eat french fries, not only did they not charge me for him for the buffet but brought him a huge plate and only charged for that.

Being a vegetetarian was not an issue for me as they had wonderful salad a pasta and potato dish and corn bread to die for.

The only one we have tried is Trail's End. As somebody else mentioned it does not have biggest selection, but the food was decent. They had enough that we didn't go hungry. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, not much going on, no fancy entertainment or such, which can be just what you need after a long day in the parks.

We are huge fans of Restaurant Marrakesh. Most of the dishes we have had are large portions and quite tasty. Some of the apps are a little on the small side though. My wife and I have shared the app sampled for two as our dinner before however. The service is usually decent, and the tea service is always fun to watch. It can get very noisy in there if the musicians and belly dancer are performing.
And if we aren't eating at Marrakesh, we will usually get something from Tangerine Cafe.

Can't say anything about the other two however.

I am headed to Trails End and Marrakesh this July!!

What is the tea service at Marrakesh? I ate there one before...long time ago...anyone else recommend dishes? Curious about that tea service though!!

We went to Via Napoli recently and really enjoyed it. We had one of the huge half metre pizzas to share and it was excellent! The aqua fresca drinks were also delicious. The service was very quick though, and felt slightly rushed, but we found this at other restaurants during our trip too.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I think we have decided to keep Via Napoli and Marakesh, and drop Trails End. I'm thinking we'll substitute Trails End with San Angel or La Hacienda???
