That is my review. We absolutely LOVED BZ, and DD LOVED the kid's club (Camp Dolphin.) We made reservations for the Kid's Club and I believe we had to call the hotel directly, we could not make those reservations through WDW. Maybe that has changed, but that is how I remember it. The number is 407-934-3000.

The one thing that I think may parents may not be comfortable with is they actually take the kids to the food place next door (can't remember the name...the casual counter service place) to eat, then they take them into the arcade to play games. I kind of wish they would keep the kids contained in one room.

Also, DD has stayed at a few other kid's clubs (Simba's at AKL and Cub;s Den at WL) and I paid $10 an hour there and never thought of tipping. At Camp Dolphin, even though it was free, I had to sign something when checking DD out and there was a line that said "gratuity" so I left $10. Not sure if that was the right amount to leave...I am very "tip conscious" (I am a former waitress and always tip well, I tip mousekeeping also) but I just never thought of tipping the kid's club attendants.

Also, you have to have an entree, not just drinks and apps.

Let us know how you like it...we cannot wait to get back to BZ! :cheer2:

Oh, just wanted to add that I go to Melbourne Beach regularly (parents have a vacation home there) and we love going to the Merritt Square Mall! I love that little cookware shop in there!

it was a greta review thanks for the reply.. I am a bit concerned aboutthem leaving the room myself... usually the disny camps keep them conatined...
That cooking place is where I go to get all my wedding "gifts".....

We left our children (Ages 5,5&6 at the time) with the ladies at Camp Dolphin while we dined at Blue Zoo. We were very wary, b/c they had just been to Neverland Club over at the Poly two night's prior and they were very, very overwhelmed by it. That review is for another time.

:thumbsup2 But, Camp Dolphin was FABULOUS. :thumbsup2 My son is HFA (High Functioning Autistic) and is often difficult to understand. Well, these ladies were absolutely amazing. Angels. The setting is small and not overly stimulating. Yes, they take them to the arcade, but the kids LOVED it! And they are in the same building as you, so if you want to pop over and take a peak (I excused myself after ordering my entrée) you can be back to your table in a jiffy.

We tipped $30, but that was for three children.

Please PM me if you have any other questions.

We love Blue Zoo and Camp Dolphin is a huge hit with all our extended family and friends (that we have converted over Disney people). My two dd's love all the people that work there. It's small enough for the kids to feel safe but there are enough activities to keep everyone busy. We have been to Camp Dolphin so many times that, Ms. Melba (sp), looked up our info and called to check on us after hurricane Katrina! We also never tipped at the other kids clubs, but we tip at Camp Dolphin. The food at the Blue Zoo is wonderful! I don't even eat seafood, but I love the steaks and the flat bread is really yummy!
