I have never tried this but have always wanted to.

I am thinking adding just one more PS to our line-up.. so I can give it a try.

Is it worth it? What does it taste like? It is mushy? Do you put syurp on it?

Any feedback is appreciated.

I got the Tonga Toast for the first time last Dec. and thought it was very good. I did put syrup on it. I was afraid it was going to be greasy, but it was fluffy and tender with no grease taste. It is like French toast stuffed with bananas. The coffee was also excellent.

We love it....tradition!

It is a very thick slab of french toast...probably 3" thick. It is stuffed with bananas, deep fried and rolled in cinnamon sugar. We never add syrup to it but sometimes add a little of the butter....so decadent!

It does vary a little in our experience. Sometimes it is a little greasier but we still enjoy it. It is always rich, sweet and very filling.

Add another Tonga Toast lover! And definitely with syrup. Oh, and it's HUGE! You might consider splitting it with someone if you have a small appetite.
