Hi Gang

We just booked the Sleep Inn for the night before we fly out later this month. Can you please offer your opinion of this hotel? Also, how easy was it to get to the airport in the morning with their shuttles?

Thanks
Andy

I thought it was great. Shuttle service was good. It is close to the airport.

Worth the price. IMO staying at some of the more expensive hotels negates the savings of flying out of BUF.

It was clean, comfortable and great for the price. It is right across the street from the airport long-term b parking lot - so you can't get much closer than that! Don't delay with booking your shuttle though. We took our time getting to the hotel and found that the shuttle times were pretty much booked up by the time we made our request - we were the first flight of the day so we really couldn't wait for a later shuttle. HTH!

I agree with the other posters clean, reasonably priced. Also, they start their breakfast at 4:00am which is great when you've got a super early flight as we did. Most other places don't start breakfast until 6:00 am which is not good when you've got a 7:00 am flight and have to be at the airport by 5:30 the latest. We've stayed their three times and each time we had a good expereince.

Hi mickeywho?

Thanks for the tip!! I had no idea that you had to book your shuttle at the Sleep Inn. Should I phone them and book the shuttle now for our trip in 2-3 weeks?

I'm not sure how long you can book in advance. We arrived at 7pm and a lot of the time slots were full/filling up. It's certainly worth calling the hotel and asking - although I could see them not allowing it until you've checked in. They wouldn't want "no shows" taking up the spots.
Let us know what answer they give you!

We stayed there last August before we left for Disney. I booked my shuttle time with the front desk when I checked in. I didn't realize that maybe I should have booked sooner, but their website says nothing about prebooking the shuttle. My kids and I were the only ones on the shuttle and it was about 5 in the morning. The hotel was great, clean and really close to the airport. Have a great time.

I just stayed there on May 3 for our trip and it was nice. We checked in right around 3:30 and booked the shuttle right away, by the time we came back later to drive our car across the street people checking in were upset about the times for the shuttle they were getting. I would say the earlier you can checkin the better time for shuttle you will get. They also give you wake up times as well.

Hi Gang

I just called the SI and was told by Judy that you can book your shuttle when you check in. This makes sense I guess. I asked if there ever is a problem booking your shuttle for the right time. She said there is rarely a problem and the worst is that you have to book an extra 15 mins before you'd normally book it.
