When riding the monorail, I've always seen the sidewalk below when travelling to Magic Kingdom.

Can you tell me about the "path" from the Transportation Ticket Center to the Polynesian Resort to the Wedding Chapel to the Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom, and finally to the Contemporary Resort?

I would like to visit these different areas by walking around with a scooter.

I would like to see the Polynesian Resort Pool, and the different paths. I would also like to visit the Wedding Chapel. And tour the Grand Floridian Resort area with the pools, restuarants, pier, etc..

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely, Ray

there is one from the Polyn to the TTC.

I don't remember a sidewalk connecting the Polyn to the GF or the Cont - I think it stops.

you still have the beach - but I don't think there is a sidewalk connecting them all????

There is a sidewalk that connects the Grand Floridian, the Wedding Pavillion, the Polynesian, and the TTC. The most of the path is those special octagon bricks that one could buy back for the 25th Anniversary. My reccomendation is to start at the TTC. If you go to the tram loading area, and then make a right, you'll see the pathway to the Polynesian.

There is a pathway from the MK to the Contemporary... but that's all it goes. There is a canal that prevents connection to GF or TTC.

Pat, thank you for your response.

I won't be using my rental scooter on the beach, just hard surfaces.

I guess that I will have to use the monorail to get from the Polynesian Resort to the Grand Floridian Resort. Then I guess there is a sidewalk to the Wedding Chapel.

Hi Tyler, thank you for your response.

We must have been posting at the same time. I'll try that route. Thank you again.

I'll bring my camera to WDW this time to take some pictures. Maybe I can catch a slow moment at one of the stops and have one of the Castmembers take pictures of me loading on to the different buses and use it for informational purposes for others.

I'll let you know how it goes. I'll be stopping by the POP Century Resort. Maybe I'll see you there.

Sincerely, Ray

You might have better luck if you search online (or ask at the resort) for a resort map. The map will give you an idea how to navigate the paved pathways from the Polynesian to the Wedding Pavillion to the Grand Floridian.

As for finding me... as of the end of the week, I will be even harder to find than I currently am. :(

Thanks, Tyler.

I hope that :( ,doesn't mean a sad sign that you may not be a WDW Castmember much longer, because you are one of the most helpful WDW Castmembers that I have ever met.

Take care. I'll be asking about you.

Sincerely, Ray

I have wondered, while riding the monorail to MK, why they don't continue the path to connect GF and MK? It looks so close to being complete. I think there is a little ditch or inlet that they would need to put a bridge over, but think of the convenience to GF guests!

The reason is that the canal there is used to store the floats for the Electrical Water Pageant... which are very tall. No way to have a bridge there. Also, some of the land area is used for maintenance docks.

Oh, I guess it was a little bigger then a ditch! It's still too bad it can't be done... especially those high trafic times like park closing.

what have GF folks walk back....never.

if disney wanted to they could have done something - they assumed that their guest staying at the GF would not like to walk back - while the Cont guest do....
