We're planning a trip for my brother's 40th birthday in January 2004. We're intending to be in New York for New Year's Eve (hopefully flying out on Concorde and back BA Business Class :teeth: ). He then wants to go on to Orlando for some golf.

One of the hotels he's keen to stay at is the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress because he wants to play the Jack Nicklaus (sp?) designed course based on St Andrews. Apparently only hotel guests can book tee times.

What can you guys tell me about it?

Wish I could help you Deb - let's see if a Bump will help out?

:D :D :D

I've played there, brilliant classy set up as you would probably expect from this expensive resort. Wierd on the 1st tee seeing these St. Andrews replica holes without the buildings around the 18th. The 1st tee is so good that the back half of it has holes cut in it for practice putting! The american guy I played with hit the ground 6 inches behind the ball just nobbling it off the tee and leaving a great hole in this perfect surface. Unfortunately it hammered down with rain before I finished.

Sorry Deb I don't know much about here but I think you might stuf on the Weddings Board as a lot of people do get married there.

Sounds like a wonderful trip..........Concorde!.........wow we're soooooooooo jealous - I can certainly recommend the ol' BA Business Class :) New York for NYE is s'posed to be awesome!
