We have definitely decided on stay at PRP, now I'm trying to see if it's worth the extra $$$ for club level. What items do they offer at breakfast and the evening appetizers? I wondered if we could get by with the free breakfast, eating our largest meal in the afternoon somewhere in the park or citywalk, and then just eating some free appetizers in the evening. Do they offer free bottled waters all day as well as soft drinks? My party will consist of myself, hubby and 15 year old son. I'm not sure if club level would be worth the extra money, but I'd like your advise first. Thanks!

We just got home last night from a fabulous four night stay at the RPR club level. The staff was wonderful, especially Lindsay! We only bought lunch in the parks each day. Breakfast was the same each day, fruit tray (with fresh pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, and strawberries), oatmeal, pastries (croissants, couple of coffee cakes, danish, & mini muffins), pans of cinnamon rolls, breads and bagels for toasting, cold cereal, yogurt. Lots of beverages, coffee, tea, milk, couple of different juices. I can't remember if the sodas were out for breakfast or put out later. One morning they put out Hershey's syrup for chocolate milk and you have to ask for packets for hot chocolate. They said too much powder ends up all over when the kids go wild with them.
The evening appetizers were veggies & dip, cheese & crackers, and chips & salsa every night. There was a salad each night, once a cole slaw type, twice was potato salad, and I can't remember the fourth - sorry! The "main" appetizer was different each night, tacos, Thai noodles with shrimp and chicken, marinated chicken (thighs, wings, drummies), and chicken quesadillas. We ate big lunches in the parks (Mythos, Confisco Grille, Finnegans, and Thunder Falls Terrace) so that was plenty for us at night. They also had five types of beer and three of wine.
Afternoon snacks were a bowl of nuts, goldfish, apples, oranges, granola bars, and some cookies.
The evening dessert was the biggest disappointment. I had seen pictures here from a couple of years ago - not any more! Everynight had a platter of cookies, (one night it was only the platter of cookies), one was tiny, like 1" squares of mango cheesecake and chocolate torte, one was mini cherry tarts and mini pecan pie-like tarts, and the last was only the mini pecan pie thingies again.
You had to ask for the bottled water, but they gave me all I wanted. One morning it was set out, but that was it. I felt it was definitely worth it.

Thanks so much for the replies! It sounds good and would probably save money in the end. :thumbsup2

:) Thanks so much for the info from your recent trip Sherlee. The current offerings sound just perfect for our family. My boys are going to be thrilled.
