what can you do in the castle?
is there a restaurant inside? shop?
I've seen photos of a dragon, where is the entrance to see him?

thanks!

The dragon is under the castle and yes you can go and visit it...if you are brave enough lol

Then you can go upstairs and visit the castle itself following sleeping beauty's story.

Last but not least there are shops, one of those being the swarovsky one where you can see (and buy if you want and have enough money lol) a crystal copy of the castle:goodvibes

Sorry no restaurant there :sad2:

There are 2 shops in the castle, a christmas one & a crystal/ornament type one. You can go upstairs in the Castle & they have a changing window. The dragon in downstairs by the Crystal/ornament shop

I think I have a better chance of being brave enough to visit a dragon than rich enough to buy a small castle!

thanks for the replies

Don't forget to walk around the mezzanine upstairs that tells the story of Sleeping Beauty - and to walk outside the castle while you're up there - you'll get a nice view of Fantasyland..

Thank you! I will. I'm glad you posted, I didn't know you could do that!

I had breakfast upstairs in Cinderella's castle (WDW). You can walk right through it, on the ground floor, but that is all. I'm looking forward to exploring Sleeping Beauty's castle.

DLRP's Sleeping Beauty Castle is truly beautiful. Make sure you see the window which changes between a rose and two doves, it's upstairs in the Sleeping Beauty Gallery. :goodvibes

::yes::

Of the 3 Disney castles I think that the DLRP one is the most beautiful. As I was told on the VIP tour I took at DLRP, "Europeans know their castles so we had to make DLRP's one a good one!"

that makes sense to me!

You can get engaged in it. ;)

I'm biased, but I think it's the best castle in the world. We alwyas go in it first thing durin EMH when everybody else is rushing to the rides, and have never had anyone else in it with us!!

Look hard and you can see me on the balcony!

Yo can either go in the main entrance, and then down throught the shop on the left.

Or as you approach the caslte you can take the ramp down that's over to the left. Or you ccan go in through the back, which is down the right hand side of teh castle coming from Fantasyland. (Kind of where fantasyland meets adventure at the castle.)

i love exploring the area around the outside of the castle. there is a wishing well and we got some lovely pics there.

there are a couple of ways to get to the dragon. there is one before you go over the bridge to the castle on the left hand side and another around the side of the castle as you are coming from fantasyland. i missed it completely our first trip and only found it by chance the last time lol
