So we are driving 13-14 hours and likely arriving at BCV right in time for dinner. Our party includes me, DH, DD 16 months, DS7, and a family friend/babysitter.
We like to spend the first 2 hours or so "setting up" our room. DH likes to clean, wipe things down, and get our rented crib all set up and I like to unpack and set up the closets/drawers/kitchen area while our family friend helps entertain the kids during this time.
We've learned from experience that it is best for us to just have room service dinner delivered while we are getting situated. Last time we did not do this and the kids got too hungry and we ended up with sandwiches from the Marketplace around 9 pm.
This time, I'm thinking room service pizza or something else from the room service menu while we are setting up the room. Can anyone provide reviews of the pizza here?
Or is there something else on the room service menu that would be better? I did notice crabcakes and salad (appeals to me) as well as a kids menu with a choice of pizza if we only want the kids to have pizza.
So what do you suggest? Room service pizza delivery for all, or ordering individually from the room service menu?
