I'm renting from National at MCO and returning the car to the Dolphin Resort. I've read that you just pull up to the valet attendant and hand them the keys. :confused3 I'm assuming he gives you a reciept there? Can I do this at any hour? I'm planning on going to EMH that morning in MK and the National desk at the Dolphin doesn't open until 8:00 a.m.

I'd like to know this, too. I am rental either National or Alamo (at the moment I have a much better price from Alamo) and want to drop it at either the Dolphin or the Car Care Center.

Which would be easier?

Beth- I priced out both too and so far for my trip National was less $. I know the car care center has shuttles to resorts...I wonder if I could get a shuttle to MK (TTC)? That would certainly be closer and hopefully quicker, but I have read that drop off at the Dolphin is so easy...
Anyone know? :confused3

laurabelle - Although I've dropped off many times at the Dolphin, it's always been between 8am & 4pm. BUT I've heard many people say they've dropped off cars before or after those hours. Just pull up to the valet and tell them you're returning the car - I assume they will give you a receipt. Then just catch the MK bus (bus stop right there) to the park.

HTH!!! :teeth:

I find the easiest at the Dolphin. On that day I head to Epcot or MGM after I drop the car off - both are within walking or boating distance. :goodvibes

Would you mind sharing the code(s) you used for National? I would prefer National to Alamo, but it is coming up quite a bit more expensive for me this time.

What is a good price for a full-size car for a week from MCO in August? I have $196 (including taxes/fees).

If you do return to Dolphin I would make sure to get a receipt from the valet, the last time we rented from there we went in to desk to get the car and heard the woman behind the desk telling the valet they were missing cars, would hate for them to be "missing" your car and you not have a receipt.

bethbuchall- I used the American Express Contract ID 5125601 and the $20 off Entertainment Book coupon. I have an intermediate from Emerald Aisle, 6 days for $153.

travelin' tigger- I put in a 7:00a.m. drop off time just to see what happened and it said the desk at the Dolphin would be closed then, but to stop by the counter at MCO for drop off instructions. I will just ask at the gate when I pick up from EA. I'm assuming they'll say to drop off with the valet. I don't have to drop off until 9:30a.m., so I'm going to keep that time in case our plans change.

theflowerladee- Oh, I wouldn't leave without one! :scared:

Thanks everyone!:flower1:
