Tell me about resort arcades...

What can you tell me about resort arcades? I think I've heard they take credits, but beyond that I know nothing...and my kids will DEFINITELY want to hang in the arcade at some point.

So, how much are games in the arcade? How do you pay- tokens, put money on a card, or what? And are they the kind of arcades where you redeem tickets for something at the end, or do you just play?

We're staying at AoA if that makes a difference.

They have the card machines in the arcades where you can put money on a card to add points and use the points to play then refill the card if you need to. I don't think you get tix and most of the resort arcades, at least not the ones we have stayed at.

POP's arcade was awesome! Our girls really enjoyed it, and you could earn tickets in order to redeem them for prizes.

We love the CR arcade. They had ticket and non-ticket games, so it made DD (tickets) and DS (everything) happy. It was big too.

I don't think you get tix and most of the resort arcades, at least not the ones we have stayed at.

They do have a ticket counter with prizes at AoA.
