Tell me about Party for the Senses

When will they announce the dates? How much is it? What is it? Is wine a big part of it? (DH and I both HATE wine) Would this be a good date night for DH and I? (We already decided to send the kids to one of the kids clubs for a night out) Where is it held? Hours? Thanks!

The dates for F&W are already out. P4TS have always been on Saturday nights. You can see the details from previous years but basically it's a 2.5 hour food/wine event with optional reserved seating at an Eat to the Beat concert (concert at 5:30, event 6:30-9). After the concert, a large room in the WS area (by Canada/UK) is opened.

There is limited seating, as the event is designed as a cocktail party where you walk around, eat and drink. There are food stations, flanked by wine stations scattered throughout the room offering lots of gourmet entrees (some WDW chefs, others visiting), desserts, cheese and wines (from all over). During the night you can talk to the chefs about the food, chat up the winemakers, all that good stuff.

Given that you hate wine, I doubt it'd be for you (unless you think you'd get the most out of the food/limited beer). You may be better off just doing a romantic dinner at a signature. FWIW.
