Tell me about OKW!!

Am renting some DVC points for a stay at OKW Dec. 17-23rd..

I've searched on here and gone through the past few pages but haven't found much on this resort..

OKW people-- tell me all about it!!

Any great views or requests I don't want to miss?

Depending on the size unit you are staying at, most views at OKW are good. If you are in a studio, you might want to be on a higher floor to get above the vegetation. Most views are of golf course, water or woods.

We love the huge units here (assuming you are in a 1,2 or 3 bedroom), and you will find it is a VERY friendly place. The cast members here are special!

We own at BWV and SSR, but have never stayed at them. DH loves OKW and so, we stay there every time we visit WDW. Here's why:

LARGE 1 & 2 bedrooms!
Love the kitchen & laundry rooms in the 1 & 2 bds
Love sitting on the balcony and watch the golfers, the bunnies, the squirrels, fireworks, etc. (I even saw a baby snake on our last trip ).
We've stayed in buildings 14, 16, 18 & 63 --- LOVED 63 because you can see the higher Epcot fireworks on your balcony! Plus this unit has an elevator and is close to Hospitality House and the awesome pool/slide!

OKW is a very peaceful resort that still has a lot of activity. We've done arts and crafts at the community hall, rented a boat, taken the water taxi to DTD, hung out at the pool and played in the sand.

OKW is a really nice resort!
