I just added this to my MYW free dining and the menu looks incredible!! What can you all tell me about it, and did anyone use the plan there and what did you get?

Thanks! :flower:

My hubby and I went there on our last trip. We were w/ family but wanted a nice romantic dinner by ourselves to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was great choice! We had a window view, which was lovely. The food was delish!! If I may make a recommendation for dessert, split the cheesecake. It was by far the best I had ever had!!

One of the cool things about our meal there, is we weren't stuffed to the point of feeling sick, just pleasantly full. That's always nice! :)

Can't help with the food plan, as we never use it. But as to Narcoosee's--it's a nice restaurant. Excellent location with a view of the fireworks from their outside deck. A little on the noisy side, mainly due to poor accoustics and a wood floor. Also a lot of kids there, mostly due to the fireworks thing.

Their scallops are excellent (when they are on the menu) as is the Key Lime Creme Brulee. Service has always been first rate and as an extra bonus, it is truly "casual" , meaning shorts and a "T" will do just fine.

I just ate there a week ago!!!! We were staying at the Polynesian and dropped Ds at the Neverland club and took the monorail over. We just loved this restaurant. I had the seared ahi tuna with wasabi cream sauce. YUMMY!!!!! The menu had a lot of great choices. Very causal place. Dh wore a polo shirt and kahaki shorts. I wore capris and a nice top with sandals.

I know nothing about it except that it's spelled Narcoossee's. You are of course forgiven but UncleRomulus ought to be ashamed of himself!

I suspect you will have to spend 2 points to eat there. If not, it would be a great deal on the meal plan.

We were planning this in august as well using the myw plan! It is two ts's but considering you can order a $50 lobster entree (is that right????? :confused3 ) it doesn't seem like a bad deal!

DH and I ate there to celebrate or wedding  ( we just did the JP thing). We LOVED it. The food was awesome and we timed it to be there for the fireworks. I got the Cinderella slipper for my dessert ( you have to special order it). It was a very magical and romantic night.
The food and service were excellent and the location was spectacular.

I have eaten there twice. Once with DW on our honeymoon and once with my best man and his wife when we all happened to be in FL at the same time. Both times the meal was great, and the service was super. The view of wishes from the deck was really good, too, and the sound piped in was nice. Of course, it doesnt compare to watching it from within MK.

I had steak and lobster tail both times I went (sort of my "usual") and havent been disappointed. Dinner, drinks, dessert, taxes, and tip for me I think was around $90 this past January.

We've enjoyed many good meals at Narcoossee's over the years with typical WDW excellent service. It enjoys a beautiful setting even if you go well before Wishes.

BTW, erikthewise....it's Uncleromulus not UncleRomulus. ;)

But I've made the same error myself. :rotfl:

We loved the food as well. I had the pan-roasted snapper, DH had steak, and kids had stuff from the kid's menu. We all had desserts and they where incredible. I second the motion about trying the almond-studded cheesecake - I loved it. DD loved her sorbet - it was presented beautifully. Our server, although not a wine steward, helped me pick a nice wine to go with my fish.

Have fun!

Sorry, I went once; friend and I both said it was the worse meal at WDW (we had a 5 day trip). So, I cannot give you a positive comment on this restaurant.

This restaurant has been on our list on every trip! The mussels here are great....cooked in a garlic light sauce. I ordered it as an appetizer but for a light eater it could easily be a meal. My mother once ordered an oyster appetizer here as her meal. On our last trip we had filet and lobster, mussels, and my son's GF had the stuffed flounder. She commented it was her favorite meal of the whole week and we ate at two sit-down restaurants every day!! I also ordered special desserts ahead of time (dog bones, cinderella slipper, tuxedo strawberries and a miniature wedding cake) as a surprise for my family. They presented them with flair......bringing them all to the table at the same time and placing them in front of everyone. The kids names were written on the plates in chocolate. The manager even came out to see if everything was fine with us. They seated us at a window table and we enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine here too. It was a wonderful evening and BTW our three year old was just as comfortable here as the rest of us. We're going back again next year!!

We are going there for our wedding anniversary in August, and really looking forward to it. We will have our girls with us they are now 8 and 10 and feel too old for the neverland club...
I have been drooling over the menu, and driving my husband nuts, he just does not get the entire concept of what I will order at each meal 3 months ahead....
