Tell me about MK rope drop... and getting to Elsa and Anna

Despite checking back one to two times a day, I have not been able to secure any FP for Elsa and Anna. It is a #1 priority for us, so I am considering doing the MK rope drop and then booking it to E and A. For those who have done this, did you still have a crazy wait. Also, is the rope drop insane with a lot of people? We are going the first week of March with a 5-year-old. Thanks.
