Tell me about Margaritaville in Grand Cayman - Post photos

There are relatively few Margaritavilles. Closest to me, it seems, is Vegas. I don't go to Vegas.

There are many Jimmy Buffet fans in this world.

There aren't many restaurants with a pool slide in them. :)

Margaritaville can seem very unique and fun, if you don't have them all around you.

And our day in GC ended up being perfect for a first time there. We get a bit skittish in new places where we have only a limited number of hours, and it works out well to do something small, something "lite", the first time. A duck tour and Margaritaville? perfect. And DS bought a hat (like a fedora) which has served him well for some dances he's done. Kid looks good in a hat. :)

Next time we'll go to a proper beach, now that the duck tour showed us how easy it all is. :)
Hey now...just because I won't go to Margaritaville in GC doesn't lesson my parrot head status!!! ;)

Exactly. We are the same. We have no Margaritavilles near us. Are Jimmy Buffet fans. Think it's great that there is a pool and slide where our son can have fun in while we have a drink relax and watch him.

I do have one in the city where I live though. And I'm in Key West relatively often.. That being said I don't really go to either of those locations..lol.

But I'm a huge Buffet fan!

I have one 10 minutes from my house, and trust me it's nothing special. I guess you can decide for yourself. Enjoy your day. I do like his music BTW.

We have a Margaritaville about 15 miles from my house and it sits on the beach. Every now and then we grab a drink and some nachos and just relax, pretending we're on a cruise :beach: Yeah, the food is just ok and a bit overpriced, but it's usually a ton of food that's easy to share.

FYI: The souvenir blender cups- if you take them back to any Margaritaville, they will charge you for a 16oz drink for the 22oz size! A little bit of savings! :)

We where there last year in Nov. There was only one other group seated in the restaurant. The kids had fun on the slide, my wife and I sipped drinks. The bill was like $50.00, for 4 drinks. It was our first time there and we wanted to explore. Next time we will explore, but then head back to the ship for drinks and the slide.

I've only been to the one in Grand Turk which has a swimming pool with a swim up bar. I enjoyed it..huge pool and the drinks were great, get a flavored frozen margarita with a rum floater. pirate:
