Tell me about Lake Buena Vista Palace!

DH got word on where his conference is in October. I'm stoked that it's at Lake Buena Vista Palace since its close to DTD and has shuttles to all the parks. I'll be tagging along (without kids!) to enjoy some Food & Wine Festival. I was concerned we'd be out by the Convention Center and DH would have severely limited park time due to transportation time.

So please give me the ins and outs of staying here!!!
