Tell me about Keurig coffee makers are they worth it?

So which one is best? Is the basic one ok or do you really need to buy one of the upgraded editions?

What are the differences in the models?

It depends on what you mean by the "basic" one. The very smallest one (I think its called the mini), you have to add water each time for each cup. Kind of a pain. The others have water reservoirs.

If you read through the pages, I think people have posted the pros and cons of a lot of the models.

thanks I am doing that now, was just trying to save some time ;)

now that will work!!!! TY

does it make a really hot cup of water? DH adds milk to his tea and it needs to be pipping hot.

The water is hot enough that I have to wait a little bit before I can drink it. Although I don't think its quite as hot as if you boil it on the stove in a kettle.

On Friday I ordered Kcups from Keurig getting the 2 free boxes when 2 boxes are purchased (from registering it on-line), free shipping and a $2 off coffee club discount. So for $25.11 I got 96 Kcups, I just wish it would get here! I want to try that german chocolate cake coffee!

OK. I know that I don't know you at all, but I could just HUG you!!! I bought my Keurig from Sam's this summer, and never registered it. I just never register stuff. And I have been reading this thread, but today I spotted YOUR post. I got my serial number, went online and did what you said and got the same as you-96 cups for $25!!! I am tickled pink...thank you, thank you, thank you!!!:woohoo:

Can I ask you how you did this? I do see the "Register Your Brewer" section but it does not mention anything about the buy 2 get 2 free kcups.

Thanks in advance!

I think the answer to "which is best" is it depends. If you drink multiple cups per day or there are multiple people in the house who will be using the machine throughout the day, one of the models with a reservoir might be best.

In our house, however, my wife is the only coffee drinker. I will occasionally use it for tea or hot chocolate, but not on a daily basis. So most days, only one cup of coffee is getting made, maybe two. In that situation, I think the mini is best. It takes up less counter space and is quicker from power up to done than the bigger ones with the reservoirs. The bigger ones are faster IF you leave them turned on all day but that wastes a bunch of energy. We have one at my office and I just plug it in and turn it on when I want to make a cup of tea.

I didn't know this until after I registered. If it states this somewhere before registering I didn't notice it! It's a heck of a deal though.

I clicked on that, went through the registration, and on the last page it gave explicit directions on how to buy two get two free, even instructing to order 4 boxes, then put in the code "WARRANTY" at checkout and it would take off the price of two boxes, give the "club" discount and free s&h. HTH.:)

A little information worth posting..........BB&B does take returns if you don't like the flavor you bought~just make sure you have your receipt.

Thanks for mentioning this, I just brewed a cup of pumpkin spice, and I couldn't drink it the smell alone grossed me out. I guess that's why they make 200 flavors! I would love to return it, anyone tried the chai one from Cafe Express? Just wondering. I ordered my b2get2 from keurig today. One of my boxes was 17 and the others were 13 and they gave me the 17 box for free go figure! The cafe express mocha ones are more expensive, but they taste like hot chocolate w/ a little coffee my DH likes them. I ordered the capaccino, almond fudge, and carmel vanilla as well, (i like flavors)! Will let u know how they are. Another note, I love my machine even more than I thought I would. I would highly recommend it to anyone. B77 from Costco came w/ 96 k cups for 139 fyi.

Thanks for the info on registering the brewer! I just registered mine after having it for a year! I ordered the four boxes for $25 and change. AWESOME! I ordered a pack of Glazed Chocolate Donut, Cinnamon Pastry, and my DH picked out two variety packs of something ??

I'm so excited...great deal!! Hope they get here soon!! We're running low on k-cups right now!

Finally went out and bought my Keurig!:cool1:
I want to try it out, but it is wrapped under the tree.
I also picked up a box of the dark chocolate hot cocoa and a box of Raspberry tea.
I had coupons at BBB so I think I got a good deal.
I had to share since I can't say anything to my DH and kids!:lmao:

I just bought a mini keurig at kohls on sale for $89 tonight, then 30% for $63 plus tax. I also got a $10 kohls cash for a net of $53. also picked up a couple boxes of k-cup for $7 each after 30% off. Is this a good deal?
