Has anyone eaten at the Garden Grill lately, we're considering it for our trip in Feb. and I would love to hear any reviews. I know it's a character meal, but which characters are normally there. More importantly (at least to my DH) is the food, I know it family style, but is it good? any pics would be great. Thanks :worship:

We ate there in Dec. 2010 & enjoyed the meal. It's all you can eat served at the table (family style). Our characters were Mickey Mouse, , Pluto, and Chip & Dale. We enjoyed our time there.

We ate there for the first time on our last trip in '09 and are going back again in a couple of weeks. Our kids are 6 & 4 so that is the main reason we like the character meals, but we were also pleasantly surprised by the food. We all thought it was very good. The characters are Chip & Dale, Mickey and Pluto, and the whole restaurant rotates slowly while you are eating so your view into the land ride is changing throughout your meal.

We ate there last year and I enjoyed it. My husband felt it was alright. He said it wasn't his favorite but would do it again. For every one person that likes it you might get two who don't. With that being said I found the food to be good & liked the atmosphere. The characters seemed to really spend alot of time at each of the tables and gave a lot of attention to the kids and adults. I loved not having to get up to get your meals and having the food brought to your table. It was relaxing. I like very simple dishes and that was what was served. The turkey & beef were good, I did not like the fish but others at our table did. Hope that helps :)

Wow, thanks for all the super quick replies, this looks like a good choice for us, plus DH is always super excited whenever to phrase "all you can eat" is used :rotfl2:

I LOVED Garden Grill! DH and I had dinner there on our 2010 summer trip and it was wonderful. I loved the turkey and all the sides. Neither DH eat fish so the waitress substituted any side (we chose sweet potato fries- yummy!!!).

I loved the bread and of course that strawberry rhubarb dessert, yummy!!! We met farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We also loved the uniqueness of the restaurant. The fact that it rotated was very cool. We especially enjoyed peaking into Living with the Land while we ate.

I highly recommend it!
