Hey gang,

Just wondering what everyone thinks of the ESPN Zone. What is there to do there? I am wondering what tehre is besides the sports bar type of deal, watching various games, etc. My bf might go to DL with me, and he heard from someone else that the WWoS at WDW has some interactive games (like throwing footballs and having the speed timed, etc). Is stuff like this available at ESPN Zone? Please help! Any info would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

there is a neat game room upstairs. We had $10.00 credit each on our parkhoppers and we had a blast. If I remember correctly, the $10.00 gave us 40 credits, and each game varied on # of credits required, but we each played 4-5 games....well worth the break from the parks. I believe that if you buy your passes from Disney travel, they still include the ESPN passes. :wave2:

There is a rock climbing wall, many video games and different games like a hockey game in a plexiglass room that you use a hockey stick to hit a puck at a goalie figure that moves back & forth. All of this is upstairs from the restaurant area. There is a small TV broadcasting area downstairs also; I believe they were using this for a post - Monday night football broadcast on the local ABC station so I don't know if that was a year round thing. There is also a gift shop. Be prepared for crowds; the $10 credit some packages receive draws a lot of traffic. Food is great; best turkey burger ever + iceberg wedge salad!

When I went last year the hockey booth was closed :(
the game room at ESPNZone reminded me of Dave and Buster's a little bit.

They, of course, have a gift shop where they show a continuous loop of ESPN features mixed in with the "This is SportsCenter" commercials, which may very well be the best ad campaign in TV history IMHO.
