My dw and I love bingo, but we never played on the Wonder
a couple of years ago. Will be on Magic for Sept. 25th this year, just over two months. Where, when, how much? (I have seen other post that it is expensive.) Payouts or prizes? Is it crowded? How many cards? As you can tell I know nothing about how Disney does Bingo. I would love to know what some of you have won.

Please post away!!!!

I was on last year's Sept. 20th Magic, and won the jackpot Bingo. I had 5800.00 all to myself ( which of course means I spent it on my kids!).

Dang! You booked a Category 1 Suite four weeks out AND won $5800 on Bingo. Will you buy me a lottery ticket?

:hyper:

Mickey Squared....you are the person we all love to hate! lol Congrats to you!

Godisneyboat: I thought Bingo would be where the "old " people were hangin' out...boy was I surprised! We had a blast playing! Families were playing...of all ages. Children can mark the cards, but they can't claim the prizes. But as you said, Mickey, that's where the winnings will go anyway! We put aside extra money just to play, because it is addictive and can get a little pricey. We have won a little money, but they also do raffles while you are playing. We won a photo package from Shutters, and on our first cruise we won 15 minutes at the internet cafe.

Play and have fun!:cheer2:

I won 330 the last day of Bingo...I only played twice because it is very long and dragged out..I think you play 5 or 6 games but there is a lot of siliness between games and numbers called...I would like to go in and just play like regular bingos without all the clowning around..by the last day people were groaning when people were still calling out "yea baby" when they had a number

I hate regular Bingo but loved the way the did it on the cruise...they kept it fun and those Yeah Baby's were great!!!!

It takes about an hour but is a lot of fun. A lot depends on which member of the cruise staff is hosting...they are all good but some are much more personable and funnier than others.

Our vote goes for Marty from Australia on the Wonder!

how much does it cost to play and where is it played at? Do you have to sign up before hand, or just show up.

Thanks for the post, it sounds like it would be fun

Bingo is ok - especially if you WIN! Bit of a giggle, but very basic version of the game.People always say how much they won, but never how much they spend TRYING to win: also others dont post on the board who NEVER win anything..........except us!haha. We play once on board - just in case we win - but find it enough for us.Why pay $35 to sit in a dark room when you can be out in the fresh air and warm sunshine! is it $35 per game? or hour? or?? Sorry for the silly question, but I haven't played bingo since elementary school (and it was free then!) .. but it sounds like fun and maybe we will try it :)

$35 buys you five tickets for 5 games. Each ticket has 6 different bingo game boards on it.
I played the last game on my two cruises, but should have stayed at the pool and saved the $35.

Ok, I have to share! Last summer, I went to EVERY Bingo session and I NEVER WON but I had a blast with Andy, Karen and Que. The year before I won twice but we had mostly Sean and Ellen! I was so addicted last summer so I hope I control myself this summer alittle more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:o

It costs $35 for a five-game pack with 6 cards for each game.

We just got back on July 17 from the Eastern cruise and on July 16 the Jackpot was over $9000! It all went to one person.

It was fun to play and very roudy. There were people of all ages playing. One person from our group won $375 on the second game on Tuesday. On the Magic it was held in the "D" Lounge. The last bingo day was held in the Disney Theater.

It's just like gambling anywhere else. Do you feel lucky?

$9000! Wow! Can you imagine having all of that fun AND coming home with $9000?!!! How exciting!
:jumping1:

There is an interesting story that goes with this $9000 win, also.

A woman first called BINGO and as it turned out, she didn't have it. Everyone was so happy!

Then, on the very next number, she called bingo, again! This time she did have it. Everyone was not so happy. We couldn't believe that she actually ended up winning!

Just an idea...

If you want to save money& time, but play for the big bucks. You can play $15 for the last game of jackpot bingo only. We thought it was a lot of fun, but pricey, & not something I would play everyday. I definitely would play the last game for the jackpot. If I ever win, I am going to turn around & book a nicer room for my family on another cruise. Even w/ the jackpot, I couldn't afford a cat. 1, but a 3 or 4 is tempting w/ jackpot $$. :smooth:

They also offer a small pack for $25. It has 5 game sheets with 3 boards on each sheet. We only played on the last day, I thought Bingo was pretty fun. The only problem I had was that it overlaps with the time they want the kids in club for rehersal. Bingo was suppose to be from 3:30 - 4:30 and they wanted the kids to reherse at 4:00 so in the middle I had to leave to take her to the club. I let her play two games of Bingo and then took her to the club while my husband watched her board. We didn't win, but it was fun.

Seriously, I HAVE to win this year! I played soooo many times last summer!
