we are playing with the idea of going with another family to WDW the week before thanksgiving 2008. we thought about staying at WL, but looking at the price estimates, it seems like it might be a little pricey for us for that time of year (with christmas shopping coming up). i've been looking at the all star vacation homes website and they have a 3-bedroom condo that i love at windsor palms resort. i've always stayed on disney property, so staying off is a first for me. we're not worried about taking advantage of EMH because the family we're going with has a 4-year-old and therefore probably won't want to stay up late for those (and we're not morning people so morning EMH isn't even a consideration). i'm going to buy the DDE card in april (i'm an AP holder) so it will still be valid in november 2008. therefore the DDP isn't a problem, either. anyway, i'm thinking off site is best for us for this trip.

has anyone ever stayed with all star vacation homes at windsor palms? what was your experience? advice?

My family just returned from a Disney trip. My sister and her family stayed in a townhome in Windsor Palms that they rented via AllStarVacationHomes and they were very, very pleased. It was clean, well-stocked with plenty of clean towels and wash cloths, and had tons of room for everyone. She said she'd rent through AllStar again in a heartbeat.

Take a look at Deb Will's site (allearsnet dot com) - she has a discount code that may help you save some money!
