We got a great deal out of BWI on AirTran. Has anyone ever flown them? Can you give me any info.

Thanks,

Anna

I would also like to know others opinions on this line. I just booked our flight to MCO in Sept. We normally fly out of Detroit, but Airtran had the best times and the best price out of Flint. Paid $500 for 3 R/T tickets. I gave up on SW ding fares.

Hannahsmom, I went ahead and did a search because I read all these crummy things about AirTran - and then I found a thread with all good things. You may want to try that too!

We have flown AirTran several times from Philadelphia to MCO. They have newer planes and the staff is friendly and efficient. They often have fare sales so keep going to the airtran.com site. The only complaint I have is that if you book far in advance they have a bad habit of changing your flight times. They normally e-mail you to alert you, but I have read other posts where people were not notified. Sometimes the changes are minor but not always. I do like the ease of picking out your seats at home and printing out the boarding passes. I also like their option of upgrading to business class at the airport for $50.00 if there are seats available. We did this going to and back from Orlando last month. It's nice with the wider seats and it is so easy to get off the plane when you are right up front. All in all we have been very satisfied with AirTran........just wish they would stick to a schedule and leave it alone!

Dh & I flew Airtran on our Honeymoon from Atlanta to Boston. It was fine to me, but I'm not too picky. The price of the flight is what matters most to me. We will be taking Airtran in Sept. for our trip to Disney. They had the same pricing as Delta when we booked, but Delta did not have a departure time that was good for us. Hopefully everything will work out fine w/ Airtran again this time. :sunny:

Have done at least 15+ flights to Atlanta on Airtran. I've never had one problem with them. As a matter of fact, they are one of my favorite airlines. (and I do have a most unfavorite..believe me)

have a great trip!
