Thank you everyone for all the info!! By the way, potted shrimp sound wonderful, and definitely something my mother would enjoy very much...I will have to tell her what it is, and she will be a happy camper!
Here is how I am going to plan out the day...we're DVC members staying on points at BWV (home resort) and plan to pool-hop to the Poly that day (it's not one of the days pool hopping is not allowed, so no worries). We will first go to breakfast at Kona Cafe around 8 or 8:30am. Then, we will head to the Poly pool and have some fun with the boys there. This will be the day the rest of the family arrives at WDW (but the middle of our trip). They are going to be driving there, and the night before they are staying in Savannah, GA. They are planning to leave early in the morning, around 7:30am. It takes about 4 hours to get to WDW from there...we're all anticipating a little longer for bathroom breaks with my nieces. The 4 of us will go back to BWV around 12:30pm to shower and get changed. I think a 3pm ADR for the tea will be good, and we won't feel rushed to get there. We'll all be driving to the GF, so it will only take a few minutes to get there (the rest of the family is staying at the Dolphin, right near BWV).
After the tea, we will head back to our resorts and park our cars, then head over to Epcot's World Showcase to walk around, enjoy the boat ride in mexico, shop, etc. As the evening progresses, anyone can grab a little something to eat from the many CS locations in the WS, as they get hungry. We figure that leaving things flexible by not having a dinner ADR that night will prevent all of us having that sick, stuffed feeling...yet it will allow the kids to eat whenever they need to. Of course, we will also enjoy some drinks at Epcot...HELLO Grey Goose Lemonade Slush!
