This is a different request for the collectors board -- I am wondering if anyone has the 1988 Mickey's 60th Birthday Celebration aired on NBC, I dont know if it was available for purchase or if any one still has a tape of it -- but I was about 6 at the time and I am in the show -- I would love a tape of it!

Please - if you have it or know of a place I could find it -- I would love to see it again.

Is the correct title of the program you are seeking; -"Here's to You Mickey Mouse"-? It was broadcast 11/18/88...

When I was about 5 we were in MK while they were filming parts of the parade for the show -- they pulled me out of the audience - dressed me up as minnie and sat me on top of this minnie, hat thing

When we got home to watch we thought it was over and my dad turned the VCR off. then all of the sudden - there I was... So we have no tape of me in the parade

I am not 100% sure that this is the same program - but I think it probably is -- if you watch it and there is an absolutly adorable 5 year old -- then we have a winner

in all honesty I think it is at the end of the program and there are CM's spinning these movable - large Mickey Mouse ear hats that kids sat on --

Hope this is the one!

I will be more than willing to send you a VHS to tape it for me!

Hi Beth,

I have good news, and bad news...

I played the program last nite, and the VCR promptly ate the tape and ruined the first part of the program, "Here's to You. Mickey Mouse". The good news however, this program was not the one you were looking for- it contains only clips of Mickey's films.

UPON FURTHER REVIEW... Could you possibly be thinking of "The Mickey Mouse Birthday Special", broadcast 11/13/88? It is hosted by a very young John Ritter. Near the end, it shows a celebration in the street at DISNEYLAND. There is one young girl, about five or six, with blond hair, in a Minnie dress and Mouse ears riding a small green Mouse Ears float. She's holding a little bouquet of flowers. That is the only child shown riding the Mouse Ears floats.

Does any of that sound familiar?

Oh my God -- that is me -- I am in tears right now! That is amazing -- do you have this video (I assume so if you are describing the scene for me) this is phenomanal -- I never thought I would see this as an adult. Wow... I am really incrediibly excited --
