How old is your teenager? My daughter outgrew seventeen magazine when she was around fifteen. And she is not one of those girls that was fifteen going on twenty five. She was just a regular high school freshman.

OP, I would edit the title to say something about the subscription, there was a thread in the CB a few days ago about getting a mag subscrip for a dd, and there were alot of moms saying their dd likes seventeen, they may be interested in this

I just went to the best deal magazine web site and ordered Seventeen for my DD and I got the sale price plus I used the code CPNCABIN15 got another 15 % off the total so it was only $3.99. Thank you everyone that is another christmas present off of my list.
? what is the 17 magazine about anyways? My dd will be 12 next month. She's not into boys or make up. She is starting to be interested in fashion. Would this be a good positive magazine for her? I remember seeing it when i was a teen but its been over 24 year i think-lol!
DD is 15, almost 16 and has been getting it for 2 years. It has a lot of fashion stuff and guy stuff and there is almost alwasy some article of sex. When she first started getting the magazine we would preread the one article in case she had questions. She still likes the magazine. She also gets teen vouge but doesn't care for it as much.
My oldest has been getting seventeen for years and still enjoys the fashion articles. I must say there were a few things I ripped out when she was younger.
Just looking at some of her current issues we have had "Sex Myths", "Naked pictures of me Got sent around school", "Girls Gone Wild - How far must a girl go to get his attentinon" and "New Addiction".
They are great discuss starters now, but when she was younger I just torn out the ones I thought were not age appropriate.
