Teen Girls - do you think a scavenger hunt is cool?

Hi girls! I am NOT a teen, I am a mom planning a trip for my DD15 and her friend DD13. my DD has been to Disney MANY times but for the first time this summer she is bringing a friend. I wanted to do something "different" for the girls that we have never done before.

Both girls are a little on the quiet side and don't like a lot of attention. Both ruled out Hot Air balloon or the swim parks (neither are big into marine life and felt uncomfortable swimming with fish etc)

I did book the Animal Kingdom Specialist lunch for them but thought maybe a Scavenger Hunt of sorts thru Epcot would be neat.

What are your thoughts? Good ? Bad? What would a good prize be at the end of the hunt? Is this something YOU found find interesting or engaging at this age or more akward?

I like scavenger hunts.

But then, I also like mysteries and puzzles and pride myself on being intelligent, and I'm a bit older, so I'm maybe not the best person to ask, but then again I am quiet and awkward myself.

ANYWAY:

Scavenger hunts are cool, and doing one in a place like Disney I think would really make you notice stuff more.

I think at the end you could either select something that you've noticed they've had their eyes on, or leave them some money to get whatever merchandise/souvenirs they'd like.

Well, I personally LOVE the Werther's caramel shop in Germany, so if you're going to do a dessert tour/scavenger hunt and they like caramel, make that one of the stops. And yes, more than one person doing it is better/more fun.

i did the agent p. thing in Epcot it is sorta like a scavenger hunt. Doing something a little bit older would be cool!

For a scavenger hunt, I personally think a dessert scavenger hunt would be toatally fun! Maybe you can have them go through a bunch dessert shops and find certain foods, for a reward let them choose their favorite dessert that they saw.
