Teen Freedom

I myself am a Teen, and I was wondering how much freedom we get. Are we always being supervised? I dont really mind, I would rather have that than these wild kids (I am definatly not one of those) running around. I was just wondering.

on my last cruise there was this secerity guard dude just to watch teens, b/c you been a teen and me being a teen know how teens are sometimes

We just returned from the 14 day repo cruise and as a parent I thought the teens had way too much freedom. There were many nights I would come back to my room after a late adult show and there would be a group of 10-15 teens just louging on the floor and stairs by the aft elevators on deck 2. I always told them to move to deck 9 or 10 so they would not bother those trying to sleep and they were pretty accomodating. Just like anywhere you go there will be the teens causing problems, the teens you do not even know are there, and the ones in between. Just have fun without disturbing those around you and you will have a wonderful cruise.

As long as you aren't causing any trouble, you'll have all the freedom your parents will allow. We've given our teens "free reign" and they do great.

There have been some older teens who have tossed chairs over board, climbed down the aft of the ship, etc. They always get caught.

The trouble with going to Deck 9 to have your late night fun, there are staterooms right below....and trust me....if you wake someone up, they'll call Security.

I'm not meaning YOU....just using that as a general term.

we were on the repo cruise and didn't have any problems with the teens - we saw groups of them hanging out around the Buena Vista theater on deck 5, and in the atrium area on decks 3, 4 and 5. They also hung out in Diversions and Sessions (usually after 2am) after they had been desserted (aqnd the bars were closed).

I do agree that it would be best if they avoided stateroom areas in general, especially after midnight.

Several cruisers actually went out of there way to find us and tell us how great our DD (15) was when they saw her out around 2am (sitting with her friends, talking quietly).

Female Teen (shouting down from deck 5 in the Atrium): Hey, why don't you come up and watch the movie with us.

Male Teen (shouting up from deck 3 in the Atrium): Can't. They're making me go back to the room early tonight.

FT: How come?

MT: 'Cause last night I came back at 9:30 this morning.......
